The Love Gardens

The Love Gardens of Villa Di Casa

Keeping up with the dream, we built a fountain that is inspired by the Trevi fountain in Italy!

When we seen the love shared by couples at Trevi we wanted the same!

So We built our "Love Garden".

Why?

But First Why?

What Italian Villa would be complete without a fountain and gardens. This was our inspiration!

Italy is filled with statues of good luck, fountains, love locks on fences and bridges. We wanted to capture that feeling right here in the county!

The Love Gardens

Enjoy a glass of Wine listening to the rushing water!

We wanted a place for everyone: single looking for love, couples just starting out, or even to remind couples why they fell in love, or maybe even to remind someone of the ones they have loved and lost.  It's all about that moment of feeling good and loved!

Here you will notice Venus surrounded by roses, as she should be.

Going by legend, she is the mother of the cupids and therefore it is only fair that she is overseeing her children frolicking in the garden looking for their next target.

  Maybe you?

The Urban Legend

Imported from Italy with an Urban Legend!

The story is told of a young girl that passed away at a young age. Her passion was helping people find their true love.

The story says when she passed her wake was filled

with couples she united and helped stay happily married.

Legend has it that if you rub her shoulder you will

be happy in love.

Is it True? Hmmm not Sure, But!!!

“Scegliamo di Credere”

(We choose to believe)

This marble statue was the inspiration for the Love Gardens and Fontana d’amore.

Artist: R. Caloni Early 20th century 1902 -1920.

An Italian artist who lived in Volterra (Southwest of Florence in Tuscany)

Fontana A'more

Inspired From Trevi

Trevi Fountain is the most famous fountain in the world. This is our tribute to the Trevi.

We seen the couples all holding hands, cuddling up together around the fountain and you could just feel the love. We wanted to build a tribute to that feeling.  So with the Trevi in mind we designed this fountain.

So when you see the fountain you will notice a couple in the alcove. This is to represent that "MEET CUTE" moment when they fall in love.

Surrounding them is cherubs and cupids preying on their next target.

The basic shape of the fountain is after the Trevi, three waterfalls, the centre and then the two side waterfalls, (Trevi means three) .

Then you have the cake tiered center waterfalls with the alcove as with the Trevi.

But the main inspiration is the love that hopefully you feel when you see it!

See more on the building of the fountain!
